Vios Story

Vios, or “moving forward “in Latin was launched in April 2003. Two variants were launched at the same time. They were variant E and variant G. Since its launch, Toyota Vios had sold more than 100,000 units in Malaysia.

In 2005, the second generation Toyota Vios was launched.

The third generation Toyota Vios launched in October 2007 with a new theme, namely "My Design My Pride." At the same time, the latest variant which is S variant had been added to the family of Toyota Vios.

Variant S comes with MID (Multi Information Display) and Optiron Meter. In addition, variant S is fitted with sporty kit.

Variant J, the basic variant, was launched in June 2008. The new variant, are the Vios J 1.5 automatic and manual transmissions, in addition to the Toyota Vios model of existing S, G and E that was launched in October 2007.

In April 16 2010, Toyota launched a new Toyota Vios facelift. The new Variant J will have Driver Seat SRS Airbag while Variant E gets Dual SRS Airbags. Variant G will have leather seats fitted.
